Festival time goes synonymous with eat, drink and make merry. It is quite natural to binge eating and giving up your fitness regime a miss. It is quite natural to be worried about your fitness and diet plans getting skewed. The trick here is to remain focused on your course undeterred come what may.
Festival times are occasions for guilt trips. But by sticking to some basic rules one can help to manage cravings and untimely yearnings for food. Best is better being focused with your exercising routine. Ideally never go hungry before any meal. It’s better to snack on some healthy salads, cucumber or carrots. Drink plenty of water.

Some of the dieticians even opine that one need not deprive of food during festival time particularly to sweets. It becomes very difficult to say no to such food, the trick is to consume them in small portions. In this way you would be able to pamper your taste buds and enjoy the palate.
In some cultures there is a perfect balance of food, with perfect mix of vegetables, sprouts, sweets etc. moderation is the word. The mind has to be trained enough to accept everything in control and never to work out. Never fail to exercise especially after a hearty festival meal
